the littlest pumpkin in the patch

Ok, so maybe he's not the littlest, but it sounded cute!  It's been a big week with Braden turning 2 months and Halloween - two good reasons to take pictures!  Unfortunately I procrastinated making his 2 month appointment, so that will be a little late next week, but he was at the doctor last week for something else and weighed a whopping 13 pounds, 15 ounces, at 8 weeks.  That means over the last 3 weeks he only gained 15 ounces, and the previous 3 weeks before that he had gained 3 pounds - our little porky pig is slowing down!!  I'm glad for the sake of his cute clothes and that he will be able to stay in them longer. :)

At 2 months, he is...
- smiling A LOT
- laughing and cooing
- sleeping 3-4 hour stretches at night, and a few 5-6 hour ones, but those are few and far between!
- eats 4-6 ounces, 6-8 times a day
- has to be rocked to sleep, but falls asleep very easily
- wakes up between 6:30 and 7:30 AM, but has no set schedule after that - we are hoping that will happen once he starts day care :)
- takes loooong naps if we are out running around, but not at home
- loves his rainforest play mat and his kick and play piano
- daily is referred to as Chubbs, Chunk, Elvis, Boo Bear, and many other silly names
- about to outgrow his 3 month clothes and move into 6 month size
- is SUCH a happy baby, we are so lucky and in love!
