Matt recieved some exciting news last week... He has been interviewing with a medical company called Smith and Nephew for the past month, and Thursday he officially got the job, and begins work with them tommorrow! I am so excited for him and know this will be such a good change from what he was doing before. He will be selling medical devices to doctors for different surgeries, and will actually be in the operating room with them most of the time, which means he gets to wear scrubs everyday now, not fair! I keep teasing him that since he is so cute in his scrubs he might be mistaken for a male nurse - a Murse! Hehe. Other than that it has been a very busy few weeks- we had a quick trip to Jacksonville last Saturday night to attend a couples shower for Matt's brother Jay and his fiancee Kristal- it was really fun and we had some yummy mexican food. I always enjoy going to Jville and hanging out with Matt's family and high school friends - I think we are both very lucky to have such a solid group of high school friends that we still see on a regular basis, I love it! Jay and Kristal are getting married in Cancun this summer, so we are really looking forward to their wedding and a beach vacation!
The weekend before this, I went to CS for Lauren and Blake's 3rd Birthday Party - it was circus theme and SOOO cute. I just love them so much and am looking forward to summer when they can come down for a slumber party at "Aunt Jill's house in the big city" as they like to call it. :) Here are a few pics - Allison did a great job on all the decorations and snacks, she definately has the party planning touch in the family!

I am looking forward to this week - and mostly for it to be over! My students take TAKS Tuesday, and I know (or hope!) that they will do amazing. After TAKS there is about 4 weeks left of school, so I am definately ready for summer to be here, I don't know how I would survive any other job that didn't give you a summer break!
